Seattle Foundation, Seattle Sounders
Anthem film, Short films, Social media film edits, Television spots, Stadium spots
The Seattle Foundation and their partners, the Seattle Sounders, wanted to raise a lot of money for local charities all across Washington State. By a lot, we mean more than $100M over five years. They wanted to unite non-profit-minded audiences and soccer fans alike, appealing to them in the stadium, on TV, and online.
We proposed the use of powerful personal storytelling featuring Seattle Sounders players connecting their work off the field with real people and real problems, all done in the style and spirit of the beautiful game. The 60-second spots were featured at the halftime of Seattle Sounders matches (average attendance is over 40,000 people per game) as well as TV spots, and on the Seattle Foundation and Seattle Sounders websites, reaching 100s of thousands of viewers and raising over $20M each year for five years.
